PRIVACY POLICY

This is the Privacy policy for Gosia Englander who is the data controller for information collected through this site and for personal data collected by Rewiring Yourself – Happier & Healthier Me (Health Consultancy and HWHM Transformational Coaching). The purpose of this policy is to inform you how I collect and use your personal information both via this site and during the provision of my interventions. It is also the policy that covers my justification for processing sensitive data that you provide to me.

By subscribing yourself to Rewiring Yourself you are allowing me to add your email address to the website's mailing list for newsletters, updates, blogposts, information about coming up courses and events as well as individual offers. You can unsubscribe yourself at anytime.  

Why do I collect and use your information?

What information do I collect?

Depending on the type of intervention I offer I may need to keep your contact details, home address, medical surgery information, weight, height, medical conditions, names of medications you might be on and any other health information we may require to discuss and look into.  I collect this information directly from you. I do not ask any 3rd parties about you neither discuss your person with anyone. 

Legal basis for using your information

I use your personal information, including your sensitive personal information with your consent to support your therapy with me.

I may also use your sensitive personal information, where this is necessary for the purposes of protecting you from physical, mental or emotional harm or protecting your physical, mental or emotional wellbeing and where there is a substantial public interest in doing so.

I also use some information in order to allow me to bill you.

How do I comply with the law in order to protect your sensitive personal information (as required by Part 4 Schedule 1 of the Data Protection Act 2018)

I only collect, use and disclose your information in a transparent way as explained in this Privacy policy. I keep accurate and up to date records, record only the minimum data I need for the purposes described above and de-personalize the data I record wherever possible. I retain your data for the minimum time necessary and do not transfer your data outside the UK. I keep your information securely to safeguard your data and I delete your data when no longer needed. 

Cookies

Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer’s hard drive.

We use “cookies” to collect information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.

Security and retention

I only hold your information while I am working with you and providing you with 1) Counselling; 2) Health advice consultations 3) Happy & Healthy home based programmes; 4) My courses - when my support ends any notes done by me will be deleted.

 

The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Children’s privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 16 (“Children”).

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us. If we discover that a child under 16 has provided us with Personal Information, we will delete such information from our servers immediately.

Your rights

You have a number of rights with regards to your information. In some circumstances, and where it will not result in harm to you, you can:

  • Access and obtain a copy of your information;

  • Require me to amend incorrect or incomplete information;

  • Require me to stop collecting or delete your information;

  • Object to the way I am processing your information;
